Service For Sight
Delta Gamma's national philanthropy is Service for Sight, which helps protect and preserve eyesight for those of any age. We as a chapter and fraternity strive to continue to keep preventing vision loss a high priority of our Fraternity. Chapters across the nation raise awareness and volunteer their time to assist those who are blind and visually impaired. Zeta Rho has raised thousands of dollars throughout the years to donate to Service for Sight. This is thanks to our multiple events we put on throughout the academic year. Delta Gamma also raises a portion of money to give back to academically successful sisters through scholarships.
Philanthropy Events
COOKIES FOR A CAUSE
During finals week of the fall semester, we bake cookies and serve milk to students who are busy studying for their finals. For a small fee students get 2 cookies and a glass of milk delivered right to them!
SLICES FOR SIGHT
In the spring we put on an event called Slices for Sight. Anyone on campus can pay just five dollars to come to our house and receive all you can eat pizza. We have raised thousands of dollars from this event alone and look forward to holding it every year!
ACHOR SPLASH
Each fall we host Anchor Splash, a number of competitions held at our pool on campus. Teams from other organizations such as fraternities on campus sign up.
